Mikhail Voytenko var staddur á skipi sínu San Gwann í hafnarborginni  Durres í  Albania. Þegar hann varð vitni að eftirfarandi sem hann festi á filmu: 14 Júní  kl 1630 LT kom general cargo skipið Storman Asia inní höfnina með ætlun að leggast að bryggju Gef Mikhail orðið:

Then we heard as Master told Pilot that his engine can't switch from Ahead to Astern. At 1639 at speed about 6 knots Storman Asia struck Rubby at 90 degrees angle in fore area. Ruby damaged starboard fore where she was struck by Storman Asia and along all portside from Berth. No injures.
